Formed in 1950 by Jeffrey Bernhard OBE the company is a founder member of the British Association of Landscape Industries (BALI). Indeed Jeffrey Bernhard was the first chairman of BALI and has received an OBE in recognition of his services to horticulture. Although no longer involved in the day to day running of the business he retains private ownership of the Bernhard’s Group of companies.

Bernhard’s Landscapes operate in three main area of business, namely hard and soft landscaping, natural grass sports pitches, and synthetic sports facilities.
