England, Wales and Northern Ireland. From terrifying trails and
spooky story-telling to fearsome face painting and frightening fancy
dress, there’s something to give the whole family the jitters. Here’s a spooktacular selection of Halloween events on offer with the National Trust: Bodiam Castle, East Sussex Spooky challenge, 22-30 October 11am – 3pm Seek out the clues then track down the creepy castle character to claim a Halloween prize. a spooky costume and join Belton for a spooks, spoofs, ‘skellingtons’
and wellingtons family fun trail around the garden (£1.50); a magic
pumpkin trail for small children; masks a crafts in the discovery
centre and frightening food in the restaurant. Extras for weekends include fearsome face painting (£3) and spooky stories in the stables. garden room where children can make a special Halloween memento. And
