Tips from the Associate professionals

Welcome to the Garden Design Question and Answer Forum, in which the English Garden Design Associates have very kindly agreed to provide Questions and Answers for The Gardening website and are happy to give you some tips and ideas gained from years of experience

If you would like a quick answer to a short question, just drop Hugh O’Connell an email by clicking here [email protected] and he will to his level best to get back to you promptly. Please tell him where you live and your local weather and soil conditions. It would be very good if you could send also him before and after photos where appropriate.

You might find your plant question answered for you already – try the BBC Plant Finder. Look up detailed information about thousands of plants using their searchable database – you will find descriptions of the plants and tips about growing them.

The Forum is provided on the understanding that we and they cannot accept liability for any consequences regarding your actions relating to our free advice.
