Avondale nursery display garden is a hidden jewel in the county of Warwickshire. Laid out in a formal style for ease of access the garden is bursting and brimming with perennials and ornamental grasses which reach a crescendo of late summer colour and height. New to 2008 are four show gardens planted on the themes: shade, gravel, prairie and cottage designed by Flower Power garden design company.

There are too many plant types to list that are featured in the garden but early summer sees a fine selection of geums, astrantias and geraniums. Mid summer – be enthralled by shasta daisies, euphorbias and poppies. Late summer there is a firework display of heleniums, crocosmia, asters, sanguisorba and ornamental grasses. This is definintely a garden that you must visit more than once.
