welcome to deakinlock garden design, formerly notcutts landscapes. deakinlock is a new company founded by Jason Lock and Chris Deakin with the aim of combining the expertise and standards of the old business with a new, fresh and creative approach.

Both Jason and Chris are based in Woodbridge, Suffolk; operating from the Notcutts garden centre there and, by appointment, from the Norwich and Cambridge centes also. Jason and Chris bring a rare blend of design talent, sound knowledge and great experience, all of which have helped them win Gold medals at both the Royal Horticultural Society’s, Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows on behalf of Notcutts Ltd.

Chris also designed the Daily Mail Pavillion Garden at Hampton Court in 1998 which won the prestigious Tudor Rose ‘Best in Show’ on behalf of Pantiles. Having now formed their new company, Chris and Jason offer an unparalleled design service driven by their passion for gardens, design and horticulture, to help you turn your dream into a beautiful reality, transforming your garden into a living masterpiece.

Jason has been working for Notcutts landscape for 20 years and during this time has been involved in the design and construction of a wide variety of garden schemes. He became a registered member of the society of Garden Designers (MSGD) in 1994 and has won many awards including 6 APL awards and 8 gold medals at Chelsea. Jason has served on the council of the Society of Garden Designers and chaired the Association of Professional landscapers for 3 years, helping to raise standards across the industry. He has now formed his own company ‘deakinlock’ alongside his colleague Chris. Jason is very excited by this new venture and looks forward to delivering gardens of excellence for many years to come.
