The Gardening Website has teamed up with Recycle Now’s Know Your Compost Campaign to give you the chance to win a pair of tickets to Gardeners’ World Live, which is running at the NEC from 14th-18th June.

We have five pairs of tickets for Sunday 18th June, courtesy of the Know Your Compost Campaign, which will be at the show encouraging people to go ‘greener’ in the garden with its eye-catching Compost Bus – which some of you may have seen on BBC Gardeners’ World TV programme.

The double decker, open-topped Compost Bus aims to help people understand how choosing peat-free compost containing recycled material or doing your own home composting can help the environment, as well as your garden. Many people don’t know that peat-free composts and soil conditioners contain recycled materials, including garden waste such as grass clippings and hedge trimmings, collected from local homes, parks and gardens.

The bus even has a blooming roof top garden, completely planted in peat-free compost – and as well as being potted up in recycled planters, the garden also includes garden furniture made from recycled plastic, so you can relax and catch a few rays on the top deck if the weather is nice!

Come along to the bus at stand HS49 to find out more or for further information about recycling in the garden visit www.recyclenow.com.

For your chance to win, just answer the following question:

Q – Why is peat-free compost good for the environment?
