Inspired by the work of the Mexican architect Luis Barragan, this garden is an interpretation of the values he applied in his work and by which he achieved elegant simplicity. It provides a calming retreat for a busy working individual, a place to enjoy a little solitude with just enough room to share a drink with friends.

The long narrow water feature is both a means of manipulating light and introducing gentle sound. Its rusted metal finish is unsophisticated,but with a beauty of its own and is repeated in the metal edging of the planting beds.
