Description

Knoll Gardens

Specialist Nursery

Set in Nationally Acclaimed gardens

Nationally recognised growers of grasses and perennials

A garden of delight

The story of Knoll Gardens began over 30 years ago with collections of unusual trees and shrubs.

Now the extensive modern planting of grasses and perennials uses the superb framework these mature specimens provide to create an ever changing wealth of colour, shape and form throughout the season.

Informal setting

Over 5,000 plant species and forms can be found at Knoll, including many fine trees in a typically informal English setting of winding paths and constantly changing views.

Constantly evolving, the four acre garden is now a showcase for all the wonderful plants available at the nursery and provides the ideal opportunity to discover at first hand how they can be used to create a long season of interest with a minimal amount of work.

National showcase

Knoll Gardens has played host to many television crews over recent years.

In addition to housing three National Collections, Knoll is right at the forefront of the modern style of gardening: introducing, growing and showing new plants nationally from its glorious Dorset gardens.

The Nursery
at Knoll

The Nursery at Knoll offers one of the country’s most exciting and varied selections of grasses and select perennials.

Gold Medals

Gold Medal winners at Chelsea for the last four years, Knoll is a specialist grower, providing plants perfectly suited to the demands of modern day gardening. These can be seen growing throughout our nationally acclaimed garden.

Events

Master Classes, demonstrations and guided walks take place throughout the season. These provide the perfect opportunity to see and experience at first hand the techniques that have placed Knoll at the forefront of horticultural excellence.
