About Katie Green:
I graduated from University in 1979 and since then have had a long fasination with Mosaics of all styles.
For
the last 11 years I've been working with many different shapes, always
stretching the possibilities of 'what a piece of glass can become'.
The glass I work with come from many parts of Europe and USA and I also use old and recyled glass.
I have also had the opportuity to teach all methods in the Art of Mosaic in college and school.
I enjoy exhibiting my work at many different venues.
My work has been shown in Galleries/ Artspace/ Sculpture Shows and Parks across the country.
I have also shown at venues such as the Henley Festival.
As an established glass mosaic sculpter......I like nothing more than the enjoyment my work brings to my clients.
The many delighted letters I get are a testament to that.
My pieces have been bought to mark many different occasions as well as by collectors.
Although my work is not for mass market because of the labour intense time each peice takes to create.
It is however as commerial as possible.So widening my client base as broad as possible.

Light
Dancers (sets of three with S Hook's to hang on tree -Mosaic on Glass
sold in assorted colours) Largest Light Dancer is 35 cm long.
Bluebells(set
of three Bluebells with S Hook's& three 1m Black Border Hooks to
put into soil -Mosaic on Glass) Largest Bluebell 33 cm long.
Red
Pokers(set of three with three Black metal rods which they are screwed
to-Mosaic on Glass sold in assorted colour ways) Tallest Pokers Head 2m.
Purple
Tulips(set of three with three Black metal rods which they are screwed
to-Mosaic on Glass sold in assorted colour ways) Tallest Tulip Head
2.55m.
Blue
Fern (single stem with six leaves, Glass Fern with mosaic &
additional coloured glass detail -this 60 cm by 25 cm wide.Sold in
assorted colour ways .
All my work is frostproof-although I do recommend to my customers that in extreme weather i.e. high wind to protect my work.
Prices:
The prices of my pieces start from £60 for the smallest work to £1000's for the largest and most complex commissions.
My mid- price range of a set of three stems start from £250
All my pieces are totally individual and designed and made by me.
Orders will take 4/6 weeks or by arrangement by me.
Deliverery or collection of Artwork also by arrangement.
