Aims of the BCS
The British Clematis Society (BCS) exists to promote the cultivation and preservation of clematis. In particular, we aim to encourage all gardeners to grow and enjoy clematis - with the emphasis being on enjoy!
The BCS has some 1000 members, ranging from experts to absolute beginners. Membership is open to anyone interested, whatever country they live in.

The BCS is a registered charity, (number: 1049107) and is affiliated to the Royal Horticultural Society (number: 10586944).
The BCS is a membership based organisation and members pay an annual membership fee. Although we are based in the United Kingdom, we welcome applications to join us from anyone elsewhere in the world.

Payments from applicants in the UK should be by cheque made out to the "British Clematis Society".
Payments from applicants overseas should likewise be payable to the "British Clematis Society" and can take the form of:
