Description

Helmingham Hall Gardens sees a wide variety of visitors including groups and clubs, as well as tour operators, from all over the world visiting the captivating gardens each year.

The Tollemache family, whose ancestors have lived at Helmingham Hall for the past 500 years, enjoy sharing their passion for the beautiful gardens and open them for two afternoons a week, Wednesdays and Sundays, from May to September.

The gardens surround the impressive Tudor moated Hall set in a 400 year old ancient deer park. The traditional herbaceous borders, walled kitchen garden, herb and knot garden and hybrid musk roses are complimented by a wonderful balance of nature and modern accents inspired by the current Lady Tollemache, a well-known garden designer and Chelsea Gold Medal Winner.

A visit to the gardens makes a perfect day out for everyone. There is a relaxed atmosphere for people to enjoy the serenity and tranquillity of the gardens, to lose themselves in the plethora of colour, scents and history. It is recommended to allow 2 hours to visit the gardens however most groups stay much longer taking the opportunity to enjoy a delicious lunch or a cream tea in the Coach House and to visit the gift shop, produce and plant stall.

Entry to the garden is £4.50 for adults and £4.00 for concessions and groups of 30 plus visitors.
