Garden Organic Ryton

Garden Organic Ryton – run by the charity Garden Organic (formerly known as HDRA) – attracts more than 30,000 visitors each year.

This beautiful ten-acre site in Warwickshire has grown rapidly since it was established in 1985. The gardens now boast 30 different attractions including themed gardens, educational displays and wildlife areas – all demonstrating the wonders of organic gardening.

Families can have fun in our fascinating visitor centre, The Vegetable Kingdom, where they can learn all about vegetables they have never heard of before and take part in interactive games with a colourful cast of vegetable characters. Our Children’s Garden also offers an exciting place for discovery and play. There are also regular events and courses held at Ryton.

Visitors can enjoy delicious refreshments in our award-winning restaurant and café, or browse around our shop which sells a wide range of organic foods, gardening goods, books and gifts. We also offer a refreshingly different venue for conferences and weddings.

Garden Organic Ryton is located on Wolston Road, five miles south east of Coventry. It is open every day (except during Christmas week), from 9am to 5pm.

Admission – £5 for adults, £4.50 for concessions and £2.50 for children under 16. Garden Organic members enjoy free entry (except for special events).

Group visits – Parties of 14 or more booking in advance will enjoy a reduced admission of £4 per person. Coach drivers will also be entitled to free admission to the gardens and a free set meal of the day in our restaurant. Special guided tours can also be arranged at 10am, 11.30am, 2pm or 3.30pm, with the cost depending upon number of visitors (up to 14 = £15, 15 to 25 = £30 and 26 to £40 = £45). Free coach parking is also available.

These admission charges are for Ryton’s display gardens and The Vegetable Kingdom. Visitors can always enjoy free entry to the restaurant, café and shop.
