Jane stewart is a garden designer with a reputation for design and planting excellence. Her key strengths are horticultural expertise, an informed and intuitive approach to the organisation of space, and a good imagination. Jane loves to solve the problems existing within a garden, and enhance its strong points. She then uses her artist eye to 'paint with plants' and create the out side space that her clients dream of.
Based in Dorset Jane offers a full Garden Design service anywhere in Europe, working closely with her clients to ensure that their new garden reflects their tastes, lifestyle and environment. Jane aims to create high quality, enjoyable and practical gardens in tune with their surroundings and the people that use them.
For Jane the heart of good design is about understanding your needs and being able to translate those needs into a design that will provide you with years of pleasure and use out of the space, whatever its size. It requires getting to know the site well and developing a sense of how the different components introduced will affect one another, influence the space and atmosphere of the garden. I am happy designing formal or informal gardens in traditional or contemporary; urban or rural settings.
