Four Winds Nurseries

Four Winds Nurseries is a family run business. The wholesale side of the business was first started some 14 years ago on a 4 acre site in Elmesthorpe. We then acquired the retail site for our business approximately 10 years ago; a 7 acre field set in the rural village of Sharnford, Leicestershire. Since then we have gone from strength to strength with many new glasshouses and poly tunnels for our growing business.

Over the past year some of this area has been opened to the public to provide the customer with a greater shopping experience. This process is ongoing and we hope to open up some of the nursery area to provide people with an insight into what goes on behind the scenes, thus enabling us not only to provide you with a shopping experience but also a horticultural experience.

We hope that our website will not only provide information on what we currently have in stock, but will also educate people, both young and old, who have an interest in horticulture by way of our monthly Hints and Tips section, various online guides, and events that we will be holding over the coming year. We aim to offer you a large range of home-grown quality plants, which come with service and competitive pricing, provided by experienced staff who offer individual attention, help and advice.

Sun: 10.30am – 4.30pm
November – February:
Mon-Sat: 9am – 4.30pm
Sun: 10.30am – 4pm
Bank Holidays: Open as usual
Closed: Christmas Day, Boxing Day, New Years Day and Easter Sunday.
