Description

Florence Court

Fine 18th-century house and estate

Florence Court is a splendid example of an 18th-century Irish country house and estate, enjoying a spectacular setting amongst the mountains and forests of west Fermanagh. It was built in a lively classical style and embellished with superb rococo plasterwork. The recent return of many Enniskillen family belongings to the mansion has rekindled its warm and gentle atmosphere. The house tour includes the exquisite decoration, Irish furniture and service quarters. There are extensive walks in the grounds, a sawmill, holiday cottage and walled garden. Florence Court is a popular attraction for all ages
