The extensive portfolio of work by sculptors Alec and Fiona Peever spans over 30 years and includes large scale sculptures, lettering and carving in stone, as well as heraldry and public art.
Based in Oxfordshire, everything is hand made in their studio using essentially traditional techniques, but experimentation combined with the finest craftsmanship has always underpinned their imaginative projects. Alec and Fiona are both Art School trained and are experienced stone carvers, having produced work in all kinds of stone, marble and slate; also bronze, stainless steel and wood.
They have designed and made sculptural poetry trails, water features, monuments in numerous churches and cathedrals, individually sculpted churchyard memorials, garden features, architectural carving and installations in public places throughout the UK and abroad.
Alec and Fiona create new and individual designs for every piece they make. They work to commission and also have a limited number of works available for sale and exhibition. They are happy to discuss clients’ specific requirements and to guide them through the commissioning process.
